Plans for the 2nd wheelchair viewing platform to be looked at by the WST board in this weeks meeting.

Spencer and Gavin (I think) to make a presentation to the WAG in the first week of October. Club are excited about possibilities (as are WCBC) but of course getting it funded is the problem.

In talks with a potential sponsor for the MRS.

Build the Budget made a "massive difference" in getting players - two year contracts for the entire back 4 cited.

There is still money in the playing budget.
Many thanks. Good luck with the second viewing platform.

In our 77/78 promotion season we won only 2 of our opening nine games drawing 4 and losing 3, that was our most succesful league season to date, that was mainly a settled team with the addition of Mcneil and Davies to improve us, we have a brand new team this year and are doing ok at present, I am in the goals win games camp but also see that building from the back first makes perfect sense, We do need a quality playmaker and another Striker IMO, although it is not that easy to get them at our level as we have seen with the pursuit of Dean`s prefered striker falling through. That said I like the fact that we are only bringing in players to improve what we already have, yes they wont all work but they are being brought in for the right reasons, we have been down here far too long but in order to progress we need to stabilise first IMO, We seem to be doing that this season hopefully now we`ll move forwards working more on Creativity whilst remaining solid at the back,I like most others want success yesterday but appreciate time and stability is needed first. All good stuff, except if I were him I wouldn't be saying that the fans had raised extra money in order to give Kevin Roberts a two year contract. That's likely to kill off any hopes of more build the budgets.

Come on Foxy, say "acknowledging that Build the Budget helped secure Shaun Pearson's two year contract is a real boost for fans". It won't hurt.

We are million miles away from that scenario (or at least decades), the club had great stability, despite being skint from time to time, the squad was full of quality, experienced professionals with a number of quality kids desperate to make the squad. Football is short termism and everything is about the PL so we are unlikely ever to see that situation again, but as you say if we can achieve a modicum of stability and allowed to by the fans, there is no reason we can start punching at a higher level.

However our bench on Saturday consisted of our 3 main outfield loan signings...

From listening to the whole of the interview its interesting as he answered a lot of things.

Hoofball, its a by product of how we deal with the way a lot of teams set up against us. Could also be politely put as going direct.

Carrington offers something different, that should please our resident experts.

Reid is a young lad who had a poor game against Hartlepool and cant play every week. He needs nurturing.

Were 11 games into a long term plan, its going to take time for everyone to gel on and off the pitch, this makes perfect sense to me. Used his first season at TNS as an example as they lost the title on the last day to Bangor and came back stronger with.

We are using a GPS system to track the players distance covered during games, which is about 13km in some cases. Fitness is good and getting better. Lets see how this affects us 20 games in and more, could be that this will benefit us second half of the season.

Its nice to hear what an actual coach thinks and what hes taken on board. I think long term its going to work out nicely.
