Hoofball, its a by product of how we deal with the way a lot of teams set up against us. Could also be politely put as going direct.

Carrington offers something different, that should please our resident experts.

Reid is a young lad who had a poor game against Hartlepool and cant play every week. He needs nurturing.

Were 11 games into a long term plan, its going to take time for everyone to gel on and off the pitch, this makes perfect sense to me. Used his first season at TNS as an example as they lost the title on the last day to Bangor and came back stronger with.

We are using a GPS system to track the players distance covered during games, which is about 13km in some cases. Fitness is good and getting better. Lets see how this affects us 20 games in and more, could be that this will benefit us second half of the season.

Its nice to hear what an actual coach thinks and what hes taken on board. I think long term its going to work out nicely.
Thank you - encouraging COYR

We're probably not a million miles from the situation we were in 2002/03 though, from a pure football point of view. There were at least two points in the season (5-2 home defeat to Rochdale at the end of August, defeat at Exeter as late as March) where pitchforks were out and loads of fans were hopeless. Stability has been lacking but the club is actually looking to get that back for the first time in years.

The difference from that season is we had a genuinely exciting frontman in Trundle and an out and out goalscorer in Morrell, also pace down the flanks which we don't have now. I'm not frothing about this team by any means but comparing them to the 02/03 team is overly kind in my view!

And that team also had a bit of a soft centre that was often exploited until Scott Green came. Nobody's comparing the players (they were all a division higher and therefore mostly better) but both teams struggled/are struggling to find the balance needed at this point in proceedings. It didn't take much to click then and might not do so now; this team isn't as good but none of the opponents are as good either.

Plans for the 2nd wheelchair viewing platform to be looked at by the WST board in this weeks meeting.

Spencer and Gavin (I think) to make a presentation to the WAG in the first week of October. Club are excited about possibilities (as are WCBC) but of course getting it funded is the problem.

In talks with a potential sponsor for the MRS.

Build the Budget made a "massive difference" in getting players - two year contracts for the entire back 4 cited.

There is still money in the playing budget.

Great info thanks

The comments by Darlington on Reid is spot on he was poor against Hartlepool and when he came on against Guiseley, as he said only young you can't flog them to death, probably the same with Massanka.

Flog them to death when they are young and have to play 2 games in a week - FFS. I used to walk 10 miles each way to school and back and take my own table when I were a lad LOL.

Poor fkers.

You have missed the point although my flogged to death was tongue in cheek. Look as the top clubs they bring young players in then rest them for a few games.

But I don't disagree with you Pagl they are a delicate lot these day's, how would they have coped on the pitches of the 60/70s mud patches.
