Have any players improved?
Some have arrived and made an immediate impact: Think Dibble for example, or Massanka with that overhead shot, or Reid with his strike rate. Others may have been more anonymous. What's worrying though is how some have started brightly and then faded away. Is Reid one of these? Think of strikers who put the fear of god into opposition players at first, but then fizzled out, and not just this season: it's been happening for several years. Are we just unlucky? Or is there some other reason for players losing their form dramatically. Is it a case of them becoming demotivated at our club, and if so, why? Is it that they come here with a good reputation, but are played out of position, or told to fit into a style of play that doesn't suit their strengths or their individuality? Has Reid's bubble burst by perhaps being told he's too selfish to be a good team-player? Any others? |

Re: Have any players improved?
Reid looks a shadow of the player who came on as a sub on his debut and scored.
Most improved player for me without a doubt - Rutherford. We need to play Kelly centre of midfield in an advanced role to see him shine. There is a massive void in midfield with no link between defence and the forward line. |

Re: Have any players improved?
Our strikers have to feed off scraps that's why. They have to contest for high long balls that doesn't suit their style and get bullied. He's only young so confidence has taken a hit mainly because the teams stule of play is so dull and predictable he doesn't see where the next chance to score will come from. I can't see him wanting to rush back to extend his loan as putting it brutally DK has abused his talent and has not convinced later to his strengths
