Does anyone know where we can get Vegan cakes or biscuits from, please?

I have literally a couple of hours ago found out I am on a late, so I will turn up at 11 though will have to shoot off around 11.30 but will certainly lend my support.

Its an extremely good cause but along with the Air Ambulance RNLI Nightingale House etc etc it really grates with me that they have to rely so heavily on charitable funding to provide such excellent services.

This alongside cutbacks to NHS and local authority social services and the clawback of genuine disability benefits will place an extra burden on charities and such like.

However government can always find the funding to refurbish Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament and waste billions on Trident and aircraft carriers!

Also, we could carry on and say the Welsh government giving everybody free prescriptions.
I pay for mine & glad I do, (live in England) as so could many others could.
This would leave millions in the health service budget.

Doesn't seem to have left much in the English NHS budget!

So you would prefer people who could not afford medication to go without?

While it might be incredibly relevant whether prescriptions are free or not I believe Pensioner actually just wanted some help with raising money for a very worthy cause..

I'm Welsh
But how many can afford but don't pay so it's draining the rescorces & money could be used for cancer etc.in wales all get free but realistically many could afford to pay

Thanks to all that made it to The Cent today. We're hopeful of a total in the region of £250
