The under estimated our support.
That front section was cordoned off the stewards panicked when the available areas neared capacity.
No need for such a large sterile area.

They had planned for 1000 fans apparently. Hardly the brain of britain at work there considering we'd sold 850 tickets before Saturday.
They never actually officially opened the front few rows either. People just started climbing over to them because nowhere else was available

Thought exactly the same myself.

Everybody was jam packed crammed into the first three blocks of the five available - I arrived early and we were on the back row of seats but late on just prior to kick off a load of lads got up on the concrete platform behind the seats.

Normally they keep the first 3 rows of seats sterile to create a wide gap between supporters and the pitchside.

They should have pushed the steward / police cordon back another block to relieve the pressure and create more room - that would still have left a whole block of seats sterile - also it would make perfect sense to duplicate the arrangements in the home section lower tier Paddock where the Tranmere numbskulls gather - it they took out just that first block it would relieve tension between the two supporter groups - it's not as if there wasn't room to do this as the Tranmere supporters were spread unevenly in all their three sides of the ground whilst we were crammed like sardines in a tin.

It would be good to hear that the injured/ill fan is ok.

The Wrexham players weren't very clever to celebrate our goal right by the home Paddock. It provoked some Tranmere idiots to demonstrate their zero IQs with very aggressive behaviour including spitting at our players (8:05 into the highlights video https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...kk&app=desktop )

I think the lad who gobbed was grabbed by a steward, but their behaviour was appalling. One older guy came a long way down to the front to threaten, along with many more, in a situation which could have become very nasty if not for our players moving away quickly.

I wonder if he's suing.

Could see Tranmere getting hit with a hefty fine for their negligence in H&S.
