Default Match day catering

Ok, we all know it's poor, expensive, not much choice, possibly from things I have been told not great from a hygiene point of view.

So it's our club how do we change it to be just like our match day programme something to be proud of ?

The debate needs to take place, and I think it needs to be driven by us the fans.

So, any club representatives lets get this going.

I am willing to get involved and am an experienced practitioner within successful businesses of continual improvement tools, who wants to help to make it change.

How do we make this happen ?

Food Standards Agency - Search for food hygiene ratings

Official ratings has the club and concourse kiosks both down as top marks 5/5 ratings on official hygiene.

Kiosks last inspected Feb 2015.

Interestingly Chester's rating is 4/5

If they got inspected this season I would think they would get a rating of 0/0

The quality this season has been very poor for the price we pay. Imagine the money that could be made if we sold food even half the standard of Kiddy!

Does food at football have to be dull and uninspiring ? It usually is. Given the late kick off we are planning to have our tea at the game on Saturday.

I think a staff upgrade is needed with one key manager at each catering point who will motivate junior staff. Can't run a business with kids. Why not focus say on burgers first and offer a different "special" each home game. Could be based on the away team we are playing eg Eastleigh "The Spitfire burger" - maybe a chilli burger ??? etc etc

Not sure where to start the conversation, and who with, as I have no official ties with the club apart from being a season ticket holder for many years.
