If Boden plays he'll have to be good old goal-hanger. He needs to show that he can be the deciding factor when close to goal; because he hasn't really shown anything useful elsewhere on the pitch.

Agree, he needs to play forward. But with what I have seen of Holroyd the last few games he will be able to do that. Holroyd can drop deeper to collect the ball and link up.

With a winger or two piling forward in support and providing crosses, hopefully an in position Boden will make them count.

He seemed to be the most natural 'finisher' we have in preseason.

There's players for part time clubs who could play for this club but are on a good wage with their main job, is it against the rules for a full time club to take on a part time player, never heard of this happening at any full time club.

No rule against it as far as I know of, can't see why we couldn't have a part time player alongside the full time.

Carl Darlington is a part time coach alongside the full time staff.

Boden has done nothing to justify starting.
Its a bit like Leo now wanting to start as a winger!!!

To be fair,.neither has massanka, and Reid seems to have lost interest

I've seen him recently at Warrington. It's a big step up though. Also, I'm sure that both ourselves and Chester have already had him in for trials. The entire forward line looked good for Stourbridge but they were playing Warrington on a crap pitch and not a top National League side.
