"Jacko Jacko give us a song" ringing in he Kop, "Everywhere we go......" would come the reply (or another of his multitude of songs).

Jacko was as much a part of my growing up as a Wrexham fan as any of the players, and we never even properly met.

A football club is so much more than the players, than the team. It's the fans. The people who are born with the team in their blood. Jacko absolutely 100% encapsulated everything that being a football fan is about. He will be sorely missed.

We must have a "Jacko, Jacko, give us a song" on Saturday. Raise the roof one more time for him. He deserves no less.

RIP Jacko.
So sad to hear this news & completely agree. I really hope we pay tribute to him with. 'Jacko, Jacko give us a song'

As legendary and famous as any of the greats who has ever played for the club.

You`ll be missed.

You`ll also be remembered.

Especially when we get promotion.

Re: RIP Jacko

How sad. Always knew of him, always recognised his voice wafting from the back of the Kop but as a youngster felt I could never talk to him as he was Wrexham royalty.

After many years I finally plucked up the courage at the McCain Stadium, Scarborough, on a freezing cold Tuesday night. I was in awe of a true Wrexham legend, but he was so warm and welcoming.

He then went on to start the "jingle bells, oh what fun it is to see Wrexham win away" song.

He will be greatly missed.
