I read a recent twitter from Spirit of 78, when he mentioned the old Social Club at the Racecourse ( under the old Mold Rd Stand, I think). Does anyone else remember the lovely Miss Barbara (Babs) O'Neill. I think she lived at the Plassey in Eyton.

used to go there a lot anyone remember the bandit used to put sixpence in them and im sure ive played bingo there aswell.

I remember a naked pool competition there late one night.

Don't ask. I just remember it involved a lot of drinking and very careful positioning of the rest.

Also remember going through the window in the toilets there to get in the match for free. A cunning plan that failed miserably.

I remember it well.happy days,i remember the last time I went there was when we lost to Stourbridge in the cup,it was an afternoon game because of powercuts I believe.

Yes I do, the players used to come and join us after the match, there used to be a Hammond organ just in side the inner door.

yes we used to go to the crosville club first and the social club at half time and full time .
