Took a while to write this. It was tough but I hope I've captured the essence of the man he was.

I knew Jacko through our mutual love of singing, especially male voice music, and though we were in opposing choirs, there was a great deal of respect between the both of us and we often shared 'choir jokes'.
Hi Steve, he would say. Hi Ian would be the reply. He gave me that look which always said the name's Jacko although never said it.

The fact that we shared a love of Wrexham brought us closer and deepened the respect for one another.

I am sure he will be organising the Wrexham boys elsewhere now, telling them 'we've got a game tomorrow' and we need to make ourselves heard.

So there we are, so long Ian, the attendance register in the Fron choir as in the crowd at Wrexham will now say 'always present'.

It was a pleasure and a privilege to know you. You brought so much pleasure to so many people.
Although, I can't make the game tomorrow, I will be thinking about you throughout the game and for a helluva lot longer.

When they talk about Wrexham legends, your name will be always be mentioned.

Excellent tribute. I didn't know jacko but like everybody, knew of him. I remember him sitting in front of me at Upton Park. Felt like a right of passage to be in proximity to the legend. Hope to hear a resounding chant of WREEEEEEEEXXHHHHAAAAM at a fitting time during the game tomorrow
