I thought he held the ball up well tonight, but its clear to see his legs have gone unfortunately. Should try and move him on in January.

Really ? He did what I could have done perhaps. He had no presence in the penalty area whatsoever . Obviously Keates felt the same. He also missed an open goal and Massanka would have been slaughtered for that.

Well if you saw Keates’ interview on BT after the game it sounds as if he’s going for another loan when Reid goes back with a possible permanent signing in January. That was my impression.

Jacko helped us win tonight. The well deserved tribute applause for Jacko made the players spring into gear plus well timed and correct subs by Keates changed the game. Great battling performance.

Cant remember a open goal? He held it up a few times in the first half and linked players into play, but like you say he isn't doing much where it matters in the penalty area. Its disappointing considering the good pre season he had. And I'm sure he would be getting slaughtered if we didn't win the game.

Loving the question - where was Boden

On the pitch!, - no pace, not strong in the air. When he did get a chance took a second touch

Not up to it

This. We don't need a creative midfielder, we already have one, Kelly has to start in the middle. It's no coincidence we looked a much better side when Kelly moved into the middle and Mackreth and Rutherford were on either flank.

What's crystal clear is the fact we need a target man like Matt Rhead or Cook. I can't imagine Cook being best pleased at getting subbed in the 60th minute.
