Watch the game back then tell me where the several decent balls in occurred . There was one average ball with his left foot in the 2nd half and that was it. The rest of the decent balls are as mythical/made up as Boden's open goal

A bit of emotion and euphoria after a dramatic win results in a few extra marks here and there but the main reason for the win is the midfield change which saw us keep the ball far better 2nd. This means more players passing to each other.

Still improvements to be made in certain areas and for certain players but 2nd half was a team effort. Inc. DKs plan B which should be his plan A.

I agree but thought he had a decent game again today, apart from his poor effort of a shot in the first half!

It's up to Mackreth to dislodge him (if he repeats what he did today after coming on then he could stake his claim). For me that is what a right winger is all about, beating your man and getting decent crosses into the box, and hopefully to chip in with some goals along the way!

Coddington 7 - sorry to see him go but knew this day would come
Roberts 6 - not my fave player but felt he tried to make up for THAT error.
Smith 8 - always in the right place, always reaching, always calm
Pearson 8 - as above
Jennings 5 - just wasn't having a good day from what I saw
Carrington 6 - has two gears, 1/ almost as fast as everybody else or 2/ slow. Today he was stuck in 2/
Wedgbury 7+ the passion after Pearson's goal!
Kelly 8
Rutherford 8 - I'm unashamedly pro-Rutherford. Works his socks off and takes almost every chance to play the ball forward
Boden 5 - he's been out of the action for too long, on the pitch he looks like a shy kid at a party trying to make friends
Holroyd 7 - less threatening than I've seen him, but pulled it out of the bag when it mattered

Subs

Mackreth 7 - totally changed the pace of the game, breathed life into Kelly, obviously wanted that win from the second his boot touched the turf

Reid 5 - feels like he's clocked out already to me

Twelfth Man - 10!

The fact someone has said they prefer Kelly on the left than in the centre is mind boggling!!
He was the difference when moved to the centre. Would he of had that much space at 0-0? Probably not, they dropped off at 1-0 which gave him space to create, hence he went quiet at 2-1 to us. But to say he was better out wide is unbelievable, he’s ran the game in the centre and looked the most composed centre midfielder we have had since keates himself.

Your opinion. I prefer him out wide but moving centrally. He can still move inside from out wide as shown when he hit the post. Just thought he dropped right onto the centre backs when he was central.

We could do with 2 players with his quality, that would solve it by he is now influencing games which is good news and he has hit the post and scored one, coming in off the left flank this week.

Its so laughable how little some posters on here know about football... Boden getting 4s!?!?
Rutherford getting slagged off as well.

Outrageous..... The ball sticks to Boden better than any other forward we have and Rutherford shouldnt be given anything less than an 8 for any game this season so far.... id knock a point off here and there in other areas but these two are starting 11 material week in week out.

Makreth was always a threat once he came on though and gave DK a choice to make...
