It's all well and good saying send players out on loan but there has to be a taker to do it, we can't just say "fck off and go to Nantwich on loan"!!!

Always makes me laugh when fans say this, as if we can just send a player away without paying his wages

It's obvious Boden is lacking confidence. As for people saying they knew he was crap then good job they aren't managing, Keates has seen something in him otherwise he wouldn't have signed him!

The point about Rutherford is plenty of hard work but very little end product and I think this is spot on.

I think he balances the team a lot better at LM which will allow Kelly to play CM.

Hopefully he can improve his ball in the final 3rd but that can be said of a few.
I would like to see us mix up the crosses as most are far too easy for the keeper, get some drilled in low and behind the defence as they are so difficult to defend.

Can you really mark Reid above Carrington and Boden ? Or Roberts above Jennings? How I see it was Roberts broke this season's defensive rule - keep it simple and was the reason we conceded. Carrington put in a decent shift but was rightly replaced in a tactical switch. Boden did well feeding off crumbs and hit the post. Reid is pinching money and his effort was a joke - I have said it before at least Massanka looks like he wants to score for us.
I think Wedgbury's mark is also unfair

Smith 8 (should just change his name by deed poll to this)
Pearson 8
Jennings 6 (did little wrong but needs to be encouraged forward by a proper left side midfield performance)
Carrington 6
Wedgbury 6
Rutherford 7 tireless again I really like him this season
Kelly 8* mom for me but only just above Holroyd. I take my hat off to those on here who called for him to play in centre mid. His second half performance was top class.
Holroyd 8 - good football brain and got under their skin as well as a well taken goal
Boden 6 - work in progress , I want him to play some games before any knee jerk reaction.

Mackreth 7 did well against a tiring side (once 10 started to tire they all did)
Reid 3 attitude stinks

A throughly enjoyable second half - we need to be more confident which will come. We are giving sides a little too much respect and concentrating on not conceding. Jennings epitomises this with his reluctance to leave his post which I understand and prefer to a marauding left back who leaves his centre halves exposed. However he must understand he has to give us more options up front and others must cover him.
Onwards and hopefully upwards.

Yes...

for me Carrington and Boden was anonymous... and didnt do barely anything at all of note.

Reid for me was ok.. nothing special but for me done more and better than boden and carrington (im not a carrington knocker btw , but he didnt have a good game)

as for wedge.. for me 1st half his 1st touch wasnt v good.. and he was passing backwards far too many times.. was a cple of times on the counter he had people ahead of him in space to pass to.. but he decided to pass back towards out goal.. which frustrated the shit out of me.. hence his low score 1st half.. improved 2nd half. but still frustrated me hence no massive improved score.


not that i have to explain myself.. but i have done. and bear in mind my ratings are MY ratings and my take on how i saw the game.

If Kelly's played in the middle i think we should persist with Boden up top.He needs the ball to feet and Kelly's the lad to supply.All those high balls are just beyond him easy pickings for big defenders.
