Yep we laud "wingers" who run round a lot, without putting decent balls into the box and get closer to the corner flag than the goals with their shots. Quality like vose isn't appreciated

Based on existing goal charts, no player in this current side will score as many as he did in the entire season (he left in Jan).
Fully appreciate he wasn't the complete player we would all love but if with all the deficiencies that you list he was able to score 10 and assist countless others in around half a season then that proves there was more than enough ability to work with? If vose is one footed and one paced, what on earth would you describe Boden as!?!

Someone said earlier that those of us who rate Vose backed the wrong horse. It's got nothing to do with backing the wrong horse and everything to do with appreciating players like Vose and putting up with their faults because of what they bring to the table. Some except that trade off, others don't. A totally understand why Vose does not get into this Keates team, however I'd Hazard (there's a good article with Hazard by the way somewhere on the net about players like Vose/ Hazard etc ) a guess that he would have got into a Flynn team.

Anyway, thankfully this should be the last of the Vose threads so Dom, this is for you
