Keates has done well so far, but if he continues to adopt this way of playing, starting Carrington and not sorting out his strikers, he will be in trouble fairly soon.

He is doing ok but I can't see why he keeps persisting with players and formations that just don't work.
People say we are doing great in the league and in one respect we are. However, no one is doing great. No team has performed consistently enough to pull away. We are where we are because of a great defence and other teams inconsistency.

Keates has time to build on what he has started and I have no doubt he will.

But this season is going to be more frustrating than successful. Next year hopefully we can kick on and get out of this league because I honestly can't see us doing it this time.

Although he needs to stop playing Nice-Laddington in midfield. That really has to stop and now.
Not very likely though is it, 3 points is nearer the mark unless he has a light bulb moment. No evidence of that happening.

I think Dean has a serious issue with spotting and signing a striker and this will bite him hard in the arse. If anyone doubts what a decent striker can do just have a look at Newport.
