Lol yes of course he is to blame for everything going, it's tiresome now we all know his best position would be on the bench, but we don't pick the team, fans keep saying they trust DK so it's his choice, the problem isn't Carrington though it's playing with 2 defensive midfielders especially at home, personally I don't think Wedgebury is that great either. Re: Tranmere bid for.....
No one is great in the National league, if they were they'd be higher up the pyramid. You might find a gem from lower down playing for their pub team but the majority of players are conference and below standard. It's such a shame that the academy isn't funded like in the league.

Manny Smith is great, Sean Pearson in great, and I would say that Wedgebury is great too. They might all fail at league 2 level. |

Re: Tranmere bid for.....
Sorry but wedgebury is far from great. He is ok does a job in some games. But I wouldn't say great. Wedgebury needs to work on his passing. If you just watch only wedgebury in a game he is busy in getting the ball back but when we have the ball sometimes he just stud in front of out defenders

Re: Tranmere bid for.....
On this, I do agree with a comment attributed to Saunders.
He observed that there are some very capable players playing at National League level, many who on their day look as if they could hold their own much higher up the pyramid. The difference however is they can't do it consistently. I think there is a lot in that, as occasionally we do see some outstanding performances by players at this level, and then for the next half a dozen games that same player looks anonymous and very ordinary. Players higher up have the odd bad game but the frequency of those bad games diminishes the higher up you go. For me, our back four are proving effective at this level, rather than great. For example, our goals against looks so good because they are effective at clearing the majority of the balls they have to deal with, but the distribution of those balls is less effective and at a higher level that would be punished every time. |
