The likes of Wedgebury and Carrington in midfield Boden up front with the alternative of Massanka or Reid Olly Marx as the back up centre half |

Re: Wedgebury and Carrington
Aw c'mon Sam's brilliant. He robs the opposition. He picks out passes that actually get to our players. He looks like he's bothered about winning. He even scored the other week. And he looks so intelligent in those glasses when he's not on the pitch.

Re: Wedgebury and Carrington
Wedgebury is fantastic imo, he just needs kelly alongside him or ideally in front of him.

Re: Wedgebury and Carrington
We play the "Welsh way", if you look at the national team they set up the same way, problem is we have wingbacks who don't seem to attack cutting our attacking options. We have a striker who either doesn't fit the system in Boden like Vokes for Wales, neither move around enough creating space or passing angles. We also have a midfield who do the same cutting our options further . When we're pressurised, just like the national team they're instructed to hoof it long to avoid the press and run the channels, but again without a mobile big man and players willing to run that causes problems too.
The teams a very much work in progress, unlike the national team we can get players to do the job, so give it until next season and stick with it, next season should be much better. Keates is right to stick with it if you view it as a 2 season project, successful teams are those that are organised with players knowing their roles inside out. Keates is very much looking at the short and longer term, if you look at Swansea and Southampton they did exactly the same and climbed the league's after a short transition period. Re: Wedgebury and Carrington
For all those backing mickey t's calls for Kelly to play centrally. Even Thomas admitted today that Kelly found it harder to get on the call after he was moved into the middle. I think he is harder to pick up if he starts on the left and drifts inside
