We needed/need him to be scoring. Whilst the supply is crap he's not showing nearly enough in his performances. The fact that Keates missed out on his 'big' signing only makes our scoring issues worst.

But it's OK because we've got 4 strikers.

Its always going to be a massive risk buying a player whos been out long term and then has a limited pre season. Boden though looks a million miles off of the pace and tbh id be shipping him out come January.

That's what can happen if you play the waiting game for too long. Lets see if DK is keeping his cards close again.

Not having a reserve team is, IMHO, a mistake. How can the fringe players stay match fit without competitive games? This needs to be reviewed for next season.

I'm curious as to who a reserve side would play against as I'm pretty sure reserve sides in this league are few and far between.

The FL clubs seem to have development teams which contain players up to age 23.

I'm sure in the past we have played overage players in the youth team for match fitness. If we did have a reserve side it would be have to be filled out with youth team players because of the size of our squad.
