With over 2000 ST holders I can't see any point in phases 2 or 3. The fans that travelled to the likes of Torquay, Maidstone, Maidenhead and Dover should have been rewarded for their loyalty.

I disagree SR - I think the fans who shell out over 300 notes a year, some of whom struggle to afford it, should be given priority.

I'd milk every penny out of them, give them as many as they need, even though I doubt we'd see 1000 of them anyway but you get my point

It saved short term costs though, and that is a major motivator at every level of the club, be it for better or worse.

I remember a war cry that was quoted from Divvy chat regarding their away fixture. "If you're going to the Racecourse make sure you don't buy any refreshments when you go there so that you don't give them any money" there were Chester fans up in arms that we'd sold them beer, ergo it was our fault their fans had kicked off because they were intoxicated

Could be wrong but from memory I think that was down to Chester being charged a higher price than was normal for that stand. As to the sales of beer, yes there were plenty of young lads that wouldn't get served in a pub walking around with bottles, hard to manage though I guess

It will be a few beers for me in the Cross Keys then walk up to the ground.

Whilst I don't like to contribute to your coffers Whitey - I do like the pies at Leggoland

Never heard anyone at the club in favour of the bubble. Organising the away transport was much extra work and the reduced away following at our place meant lower gate receipts.
