For Louis the most lucrative deal would be to agree a move for free in the summer. The buying club are likely to pay more in wages if they don't have to pay a fee by waiting until the summer.

Kid is a goal machine .. struggling to find a reason why someone in the championship wouldn't go for him .. anything under a million would be a steal in today's market

I think is you look back Moult was younger then only just turned pro, his wife also had a baby, their is reasons we aren't privy to with players at times and to be fair Bishop hit a little scoring streak around that time.

I know people say about players going for the best money , but knowing how Loius was here at Wrexham , I have a small hope that he will remember us , and try and ensure we benefit to some extent , like he did when he left!

You never know, I remember his last interview when he knew he was leaving. He almost started crying fair play to him. I think the club means a lot to him

Lets hope he gets the move he deserves

Preston are interested, Rangers again too. Rangers passed on him last summer, unfortunately they'll be looking to sign him for free in the summer.

It pains me to say it but Louis has no loyalty to prove to us. He will, and should as you need to make your money fast in football, go for the move that will net him the best deal in signing on fees, wages etc.

Logically that would mean a move for free in the summer when as mentioned before a club can use what would have been a signing fee to supplement his wages to entice him.

I won't hold a grudge against him if he goes for nothing in the summer, it would be a shame to miss out on what could have been a very big windfall but Louis needs to do what is best for Louis, not Wrexham. Or Motherwell.

While that makes sense it's also a gamble. Turn down a lucrative contract in January and you could get a big injury in February.

I think the level of football in the SPL would put some teams off. I watched Inverness a couple of years ago when they were doing well in the SPL, many players were league 2/conference level.
