January Transfer Window

With us getting results still I can't see Keates doing anything for a while. Maybe a month loan for a striker once Reid goes back. I get the feeling he's rather work with who he has here already and try and improve things there than bring more players in.

In January Reid will have gone and Massanka and Wright also go don't they? So thwre will be a need to bring in some players. Maybe this mystery permanent striker we've been after for so long.

I'd like to see Wright's loan made season long as well

Hopefully Massanka will go and not to fussed about Reid going back but would like to keep Wright if possible.

2 new strikers instead of them and another midfielder (or left winger and move kelly central), and we'd be looking great in my opinion.

I can't see any reason why Fleetwood will take Wright back. They even let him play for us in the FA Cup. Let's tie that loan down and bring in a player to replace Massanka. I'm not overly fussed on Reid but I think he's a good option from the bench. Fleetwood won't appreciate us using him as a back up however so I can't see it happening.

How many January transfer windows have we been extremely disappointed in this league - are we about to see another 1.

Stand still in this game and you start going backwards - lets hope DK has some targets to come in right away otherwise we could be in for a disappointing 2nd half of the season.

If we screw up this January and not go for it, it's fairly clear to me we're not actually serious about going up. I'm amazed we haven't changed things up front tbh.

We're doing really well at the moment and it depends how you look at it. We haven't really played very well yet and we're still in the mix. I think we're three players short of being serious title contenders. Two quality forwards and possibly a left winger.

Where have you read that the Board are not prepared to let Keates spend ?
He was banking on a striker until the Agent got involved , Perhaps Keates refuses to waste money , Or he had signed another Boden for a big fee He would have been accused of wasting money , Cant win can He.

Keates said in the last week of the transfer window that he still had money available but then missed out on the striker he wanted. The board in no way can be blamed for that. keates is the non league Wenger!
