Don't think its so much of a Marx hater but is he really ready that's the point.

DK is playing a dangerous game not putting him on the bench and giving him some minutes.

Will he play Hurst/Roberts there tonight - that's going to be interesting.

How else will he ever be ready?

Surely the only other choice would have been to sign another 'experienced central defender' and to ship Marx out on loan.

I think some of the criticism of Marx has been unfair and is systematic at a section of our supporters attitude to youth players. Which has been going on for well over 15 years.

You know that do you ? The lads barely had a chance , like I said in another thread , playing once in a blue moon doesn`t help at all , would be the same for any new comer coming off the bench now and again, I think in the next couple of years He will prove you lot wrong .

Foxy has an agenda , every opportunity he gets he makes remarks about young Ollie , WPL at best and all that , Marx is 18 , If Keates thought He wasn`t up to it why has he not sent Him out on loan then ? And I'm sure Marx is not on any where near a big wage . this constant criticism of our youngsters is really pissing me off .

Absolutely. All players benefit from having solid running the team, in all positions. I remember people absolutely slating Chris Westwood when he first came into the side. When he became a regular he went on to be made player of the year. Now I don't expect Marx to do that but you have to allow for some mistakes for an 18 year old coming into an established side.

From what ive seen of him in his Wrexham career so far he looks like a player with a good deal of promise.

Think securing Akhil Wright's services to the end of the season has to be top priority. Then we look for a forward.
