Spot on , start of the season people on here were crying out to give our youth a chance , so when they make a mistake in the odd game they play they are slated as shit !! We need 4 players. A left winger (currently not got a natural one), creative midfielder and two forwards. Looks a tougher job than most think looking at Keates' history of bringing in attacking players.

You know that do you ? The lads barely had a chance , like I said in another thread , playing once in a blue moon doesn`t help at all , would be the same for any new comer coming off the bench now and again, I think in the next couple of years He will prove you lot wrong .

that is my belief.

I'm not criticising Marx and I agree the odd game here and there won't help, which is why a more experienced option would be better on the bench, and Marx loaned out.

5. We clearly also need another CB too. That isn’t anything against Marx more of have sufficient back up and in my opinion one back up cb just isn’t enough.

How much money has DK got left? 5 players is a hell or a lot of additions added to the wage bill, I can't see it myself Keates said he wanted a small squad.

I think some of the criticism of Marx has been unfair and is systematic at a section of our supporters attitude to youth players. Which has been going on for well over 15 years.

I agree and that was my point about DK having on the bench.
I personally don't think he is a bad player and has shown some real promise, he has the 'clanger' just waiting to happen in a game but I think that will come out with experience.

I think any criticism is because the perception is they may not be ready or good enough - lets face it Evans, Leo and a few have flattered to deceive up to now.

Ideally 5 players. I doubt it’ll happen unless players leave. For example we may loan players out or get to January then release a player or two by mutual consent. Boden could be one for example. Marx could go out on loan as could Leo Smith.
