We can't keep relying on defenders to score/keep clean sheets and own goals to squeak us through games, the front end of this team is so awful it's unreal.

Has any interviewer ever said to Keates directly that his strikers and midfield don't work as a unit?

Sounds like the worst performance of the season. Such a shame after grinding a result out at Dagenham. So frustrating!

It just shows that we have been thriving on the margins this season, getting the run of the ball and squeezing results out through hard work , organisation and fitness. We have 4 strikers who are all average to poor to lazy and diabolical, no creativity in midfield and severely short of bodies at centre half. That’s still a lot to put right next summer.

It`s one of life`s mysteries how we are third in the table. This team is so bloody boring to watch. So much for the beautiful game.

It`s also clear that we are a 2 man team. Pearson and Smith. Take one of those out and we are stuffed. Got lucky on Saturday. Was never going to happen again.

Having seen Wrexham twice recently the Fylde fans must be thinking that they were reading the league table upside down.
