No, because the Rules say Carrington must start (and I believe Wedgbury has 5 yellows and is suspended). We're not allowed to bring Kelly inside until after the 60th minute!

I was visiting a friend and we went to the match. Orient were poor, looked really vulnerable on their right side and the home fans were on their back from early on in the game. The 62 travelling fans certainly had a lot more to cheer about.

Having also been at the Dagenham game, I can't see Orient troubling our defence but unless we have players running at them then I don't think we'll trouble theirs either!

I've been to a few Orient games over the past few years as both home and away and the atmosphere there is pretty dire. The away section's decent and a few hundred reds like last week will make a big difference!

Carrington is ok to fill in. He's no use at all with Wedgbury but could fill in for him with Wright alongside him. (personally I want Kelly in the middle but we know that isnt going to happen)

The worrying thing is that Carrington may be needed at right back if Roberts and Hurst are both crocked.

03 June 1989 - when I ever think or see 'Leyton Orient' it brings back memories of the Play Off second leg at Brisbane Road. After twice beating Scunthorpe United in the two leg semi final (3 - 1 at home & 0 - 2 away) we then played Orient at home on a sun drenched mid week evening that ended in a 0 - 0 stalemate.

As I recall the second leg was played with a 1200 noon kick off - the winners would go up, it was all or nothing. We were playing in all green (away) and I took a shed load of green balloons down, finishing nights 2 hours early and driving down. Away end was packed with about 2,500 reds.

Whilst walking towards the ground there was a very modern public lavatory sited in the middle of a very wide pavement - curved metallic walls resembling a steel capsule. A load of Wrexham fans were passing when for some reason the bog door slid open to reveal a little old lady sitting astride the pan with her drawers around her ankles, staring out into the morning light to the sound of 30 x Wrexham fans singing ' we can see you having a sxxx !'

Anyway, a very long season came crashing around our ears - we went on to lose 2 - 1, Jon 'Animal' Bowden equalized their first goal then we conceded a second about 8 minutes from time. And to top it all, on the return journey I took a wrong turn off the London orbital and got stuck behind a wedding procession.

Dixie Mcneil was the manager at the time, not sure if that was his last match as he finished soon after. it had been a season where we were apparently cruising - think we were top at Christmas and in December had beaten Chester at the old Sealand Road ground (1 - 2 in the LDV on the night of the Lockerbie disaster) and Burnley at Turf Moor, then our form dipped badly and we just about scraped into the last play off place.

A short clip of that Play off second leg match - this was before the Play off finals were played at Wembley.

STADIUM NEWS | EXTRA CONCESSION OPEN IN THE MOLD ROAD STAND
Macclesfield Town
POSTED:THU 26 OCT 2017
AUTHOR:CARL HOGAN
Beat the queues on Saturday and visit the newly opened concession at the university side of the Mold Road Stand concourse.

To help alleviate the queueing times at the two middle concession bars in the MRS, we have made the move to fully open a further facility to help improve the match day experience at My Racecourse.

The newly opened concession facility will be open from 2pm selling all concourse products including Village Bakery pies, Rollover Hot Dogs, snacks including crisps & sweets, hot/cold/soft drinks, Wrexham Lager, Big Hand Real Ale and Carlsberg.

Also, you'll be able to keep up to date with the days sporting action on our Sky/BT Sport tv outside the bar.

surely thats a good thing, as it will force a Wright/Kelly midfield partnership?
