Guiseley at home recently we played for a 0-0 with hoping to snatch a goal, the tactics of someone scared to attack, like I said on another thread it's like an army hiding in a bunker with no idea on how to advance, we should play in all white.

If we played in all white we would be Tranmere Rovers - we would be complaining we couldn't score a goal and have no creativity in midfield and even worse - have to go shopping at the Pyramids in Birkenhead - doesn't bare thinking about

If Roberts is missing who goes right back ?

Where is Hurst ? he wasn't in the squad at Fylde.

If he too is out injured or ill then Carrington would probably go right back creating another space in the midfield - Wedgbury suspended could mean Carrington, Hurst or Leo Smith being brought in.

Even the keeper is an argument - Dunn doesn't fill me with confidence - personally Dibble has impressed but would DK play him ? usually a change of keeper is down to injury. Dunn pulled off some very decent saves at Fylde but it could be argued that he should have done better for both goals.

Up front Holroyd and an other from Reid, Massanka or Boden - I would try Massanka who hasn't had a home start for a while but none of them are staking a claim for permanent team inclusion.

I never want us to lose, it ruins my week until the next game. What I meant was if we set up not to lose at home then we don't really deserve to win the game and if we lose we kind of deserve it.

We are going through a very strange phase - with the exception of Fylde every game we play seems to be decided by a single goal and all games are pretty low scoring and I can't remember the last time we scored a 3, 4 or 5 goalfest.
I think that's what fans are concerned about - it's boring football and of low entertainment value - we simply never look likely to hit the goal trail - I was at Fylde on Tuesday night and it took Reid until the 43rd minute to get our first shot away - second half wasn't greatly different.
If we score first early on it's a blessing and will force the opposition out to seek a goal themselves - on the other hand if the opposition score first they could do a Guiseley - sit back, defend and time waste the match away.
Now I've said that we will probably win tomorrow 5 - 0 (or maybe not).
At home it's surely our teams responsibility to the fans to have a real go and try and win the match - and put on an entertaining performance.
