I think you've opened up the 'Kelly in the middle of the park' debate there

Massanka had a very good game (I'm normally not a fan) , gave an outlet, ran the channels and involved in both goals. Mackreth was garbage, lightweight and no evidence of this supposed electric pace. Dunn very poor again, Dibble must be Valero standard in training not to start ahead of him (get coddington back). Hurst good 1st half, no worse than Roberts imo. Jennings the personification of average again, Carrington no worse in his 3rd choice position (and he isn't great in his 1st 2). The rest all 6's.

7 mins left, striker injured and Leo comes on opposed to the big name summer signing. May as well cut the loss on Boden and find someone to contribute 300 quid a week towards his wage that can be put towards someone half effective.

As was clear on the LMT I have a different opinion on the match than the usual doom and gloom brigade.

Ultimately orient probably were just about worth a draw but we were our own worst enemies again. With just a little bit more quality we would have beat them easily.

As for individuals people have commented on I thought Hurst did ok (I do think Roberts offers more all round) and first half.particularly was tryingnro put balls.into the spaces behind their left back for Mackreth to run onto. Massanka worked very hard. Too often this comes to nothing but he put in a good shift and generally played well I thought. He was integral to the second goal as well. Kelly and Wright both did ok in midfield apart from the tendency to drop too deep which let Orient dominate the centre a bit too much. Personally I felt we never really looked like conceding from open play. Their first goal was a fluke possibly compounded by keeper error and the second goal someone didn't do their job defending a corner.

Disappointed with the result but don't think we were as bad as some are saying.

I agree, plus a brute upfront and I think the play-offs would be a formality

A draw was a fair result. After all the angst about forwards Im beginning to think it's a couple of midfielders we really need. Thought Wright looked very limited and I'm not convinced by Kelly much either. Holdroyd played well and Rutherford had a good second half. Massanka had one of his better games. But we should be preparing for some big changes to stay in the playoffs come January. Reid and Masssnka can go back as soon as loans are up and I'd probably let Wright go too. There's three places to fill plus the striker money still to be spent. And if fit Dibble deserves his place back.

Points dropped and average performance with yet again a number of players not taking their chance to stake a claim. 2 goals and 3rd place just papers over the cracks in this squad but I guess many are happy with this.

Why Mackreth was on the pitch longer than 45 minutes is a complete mystery and was a waste of a shirt today, disappointed with Wright today as he completely lacked urgency.
Also thought Jennings showed his limitations and Carra looked far more accomplished at LB.

Kelly is about the most creative player we have despite being a bit lightweight in CM and really needs to play this role in a 433.

Didn't see the point in the Reid substitution as surely Boden needed to be given some game time.

The big talking point is Dunn and for me that should be his last - still think that signing Coddington on a 2 year deal should be a priority.

I used to think freedom of speech was a great thing but then I spent 90 minutes near some fella calling Mackreth literally every name under the sun (some may argue it was justified on today's performance), Pearson a cvnt and slammed us for being terrible defensively all season. Whoever bought their dad along, please don't again.

One of the better performances this season but came up against a decent Orient side. Roll on the next game
