Stonewall penalty to us in the last few minutes when their GK took out our player as he was about to score.......GK made out he was badly injured but wasnt and the ref bottled it and gave a bounce ball!.........is that a new rule as well or was he just crap?

Seems like a very harsh and unnessary rule.
I could understand it if the attacking player made an arcing run from inside the opposing half and came into his own half before crossing back into the opponents half and then touched it. But to penalise a player for offside when in his own half is beyond perverse.

No, because when the ball was kicked he was in the opposition half and in an offside position. All that matters is where he is when the ball is kicked. He's only caused an offence when he tries to win the ball which occured in our half.

In the first half, mackreth chased a long ball down the left wing having ran across from his right wing position. He caught up with the ball close to the corner flag.

However he was judged to have been offside when the ball was played down the left flank.

Fair enough.

However the free kick was taken from Mackreths offside position closer to the half way line on the right hand side and not where he touched the ball (by the left wing corner flag).

This is a different application to the massanka one. Why is that?

Nobody's mentioned the equaliser. We should have had a goal kick instead of them having the corner from which they scored.

To be honest half his decisions were spot on. Admittedly the Massanka one for being offside in his own half and the end were a farce. Understandable he gets the blame but most should go to the fact we can't finish teams off.

Definitely a corner. Ball was cleared straight into one of our players running back and bounced off him out of play
