For me, if they are hot they are cooked! All a matter of taste. I have the problem at home with my desire for a bit of crunchiness in my veg and mrs draig preferring everything near mushy. But she won't let me have fish and chips with mushy peas seven days a week!

I am with you on this - like my veg cooked through - although to be fair it is a matter of taste.

In my humble opinion there is nothing worse than cauliflower cheese with rock hard cauliflower

I prefer the 1864 myself. I don't think the food in the Bamfords is too great, but it rarely is when catering for such a large group.
