As long as we agree with the parent club - remember we loaned out Rooney and then Tilt last season with promises of cash.

If that's the case you wonder why if we have targets identified why we aren't at least trying to go for one or two of them now?

I don't wonder at all anymore as DK has made it clear in his communications with the media then he is waiting until January to 'hopefully' make signings.

He may look to replace Reid short term with a loan but beyond that nothing.

This is why there needs to be a WAFC board that provides strategic direction.

I wonder whether it's just Keates being careful with his available money. Hes got four forwards and presumably feels he doesnt need any more right now. Similarly in midfield he must feel he can do something with the players at his disposal.

He wasn't slow to move people on or bring people on last season so it makes me thing this apparent inaction is a measured thing.

The board has given Keates the money to produce a side that will ultimately achieve promotion. They can't and will not force him to sign players.

His remit along with Andy Davies and Carl Darlington is to work to get a promotion challenging / achieving side and restructure the club following previous failures,
Looks to me that we are on the right road, just need to add more quality in midfield and left wing and get the best out of our forwards, or hire a brute who can compete and win the long ball stuff.
I'd prefer us to play some more attractive football but I suppose if we're winning, most will be happy.
