"I was pleased with the contribution made by the two lads making their debut; Olly did well, he took a knock early in the second half but gritted his teeth and came through it,

As I said, at this level. Swansea and United are Premier league clubs. And for the record there's no slagging off, that's just my opinion. Rushall is his level.

Jesus wept the Marx criticism is unfair and unjust, hugely talented player, playing in a very difficult position to learn where any mistake is magnified. He is also incredibly young as centre backs don't usually come through till they are 20-21. I think we have a great player on our hands who will make the club a lot of money

A good move for him and us. However it is also an issue we have created by not having a reserve team which allows young players game time to develop.

Spot on.

Give him at least another couple of seasons before writing him off.....

I'd hardly say it's unfair and unjust. He isn't good enough to start for us, and he is regularly caught off guard. As some describe him, Mr Sleepy. It's fair for people to think he isn't good enough for us and won't progress.

I think too many people on here are extremely quick to criticise those who don't see a future in our youth. I always remember how much "unfair criticism" Rob Evans came under.

It is unfair and it is unjust. You can't criticise a kid for not being at Pesrson or Manny's level and suggest that is fair. In my opinion he IS good enough to play for us, he proved that at the tail end of last season. This year he is trying to step into a team that is set up to do a lot of defending having not played any football for a few months and you think the nickname "Mr sleepy" is fair and just?

On Rob Evans, I noticed a dramatic tail off in his game once those like you started criticising him, I hope you don't have the sane effect on Oli

Ha Ha I have heard it all now. Robbie Evans didn’t make it because Ned Starks Ghost criticised him. Regardless of the fact that he couldn’t tackle, couldn’t pass and couldn’t read a game, it was all down to Ned Starks Ghost. Wow! The power of a Red Passion poster !
