Don't agree. They pay £300k / year for 37 years That's 11,1 Million pounds.
They also pay a portion of the Stadium sponsorship and will provide 3G pitches in Swansea. Admittedly small beer in comparison to their income.
We pay £100k /year for 99 years. Keep all the sponsorship and stadium revenue.
We appear to have a better deal on the face of it. Neither of us will own
the respective stadia at the end of the lease and Swanseas next lease could be considerably higher depending on their status at the time.

They have also been there for 12 years paying a peppercorn rent though and they are operating from a state of the art 4 sided stadium with a 4G pitch.
Last season Swansea earned more than £103m for finishing 15th their big problem will be if they get relegated more than once and lose a large amount of income.

Agree our deal looks better, £100k payment in 2107 will look like small change , unfortunately I won't be around to confirm my view.

The Racecourse rose tinted specs are out again.

We are paying 100k a year for a crumbling lower division stadium that is partly derelict and would only be worth anything if it was demolished for the land.

They are paying 300k for a modern, new premier league stadium that cost nearly £30m to build.

Swansea council getting 3 times as much rent for an asset that cost them FIFTEEN times as much as Glyndwr paid.

Yeah, we did really well there.....
