Yes i was in work couldn't get it off to go luckily a breakdown so was able to watch on a TV smuggled in ( nights has its good points now and then) the ones I mentioned don't go to matches anymore they are the type who went the Trophy final and cup games, the reason I mentioned them was they think I need psychiatry as one put it in his terms watching boring defensive kick & run. Another supporter from the good old days said, Wrexham were always a side that played attractive attacking football, my how they have fallen... As I said in original post apart from the cup games they ain't been since we dropped out the league.... Not saying I agreed with them because some is unprintable.

PS wasn't tv it was on the net laptop.

I am disappointed to read these callous, nasty and unnecessary personal remarks made toward Marcus Bignot. There is in my opinion no room for such spite on a football forum or indeed anywhere in the public domain.

The man can do nothing to alter his appearance and the posters should be grateful that they and their families are not held in such ridicule for something that is unfortunately outside their control.

Good post

Tell you what let's compound this madness by continuing with massanka up top.

I find that surprising. This is the fifth tier of football we are talking about so of course the football is not going to be Premier League standard, but the standard of play was good - it wasn't hoofball. The pitch was good, there was loads of passion and a good atmosphere under the lights, a few incidents to get the blood pumping, and we beat the old enemy at their ground to go top of the league. I really enjoyed it!

It's different when you're there and the atmosphere gets to you, but watching it on BT first half we dominated with only one shot for the keeper to save which we scored off, second half after 10 mins Chester upped their game and hit the post and crossbar we simply couldn't put a foot on the ball the defence and particularly the midfield just kept on losing possession through poor quality passing, that's why the pressure kept coming at us, if they had been a good side we would of lost that second half.

We have played many other 'good sides' this season who have also failed to score second half - guess we just keep getting lucky

"if they had been a good side" blah blah, same gets said every week on here. Bottom line is only one team is bettering us so far this season so stop with the boring tripe for once and enjoy a win

I wasn't there unfortunately, and also watched it on TV.

I watched it with some of my wife's relatives, who are neutrals, and they enjoyed it. It wasn't a dull game and the standard wasn't bad. It's easy to forget that watching top class football can also often mean few goals and grinding out results (Man Utd this season for instance).
