3 of next 4 games at home. We should still be in the top places at Christmas, but we need two quality players to remain there.

Don't know how we won that, we certainly didn't deserve anything from it. Get your nose in front and defend for the rest of the match, no matter if there are 5 minutes remaining or 75, just hang on for one nil.
It's not that our strikers are shit it's our tactics, we may as well not have anyone up front.

Saying that I'll take 3 points and joint top all night long.

Well done boys.

Totally agree with this post. There's a huge gap between midfield and attack - they simply aren't being supplied with any quality through balls or crosses. I don't think its the strikers fault - its more to do with the way that the midfield are sitting so deep IMO

I thought massanka came back into midfield and chased the chester players quite well first half. Going forward he was dreadful. Not his fault, I think he is lacking a footballers brain. Boden is a quality football player, his touch and pass is something that is missing when he is on the bench. Holroyd tonight ran his sock off and put in some really hard work for the team tonight. Yes our back four were great but the two centre midfielders defended really well and ruthers defender off the ball really well. The whole team worked hard and I really do think if they carry on working hard for each other we really do have a chance this season.

I listened to Neil Roberts dragonfm interview the other night and what he said about that Wigan team that he was in, they won a lot of games 1 0 and their defence were solid. Does that remind you of anyone this season?
