Re: Ratings vs Chester
Dunn 4 - disaster zone at all times. Doesn’t come out to claim any ball and thankfully didn’t have a shot to save. I think he’s only just dived now for the shot that hit the bar, such was his delayed reaction. Can’t kick the ball either.
Roberts 7 very solid but adds nothing going forwards, although he is probably told to play that way. He had a reputation for assists at Halifax didn’t he? Smith 8 - brilliant reading of the game saved our skin a few times. His pace and calmness is crucial. Pearson 9 - a leader of men, a big game and he stepped up his game. Most important player at the club. MOTM. Jennings 7 - played well i thought before his standard injury. Rutherford 6 - tries so hard but my god is he annoying and pointless going forward. Runs down 100 blind alleys a match. Wright 7 - it seems like there’s so much more he could be doing than sitting defensively. He’s a powerhouse and should be way more involved in the attack. Wedgbury 6 - he has no brain. Our 2 biggest away games and he should have been off in both of them for ridiculous brainless challenges on players going nowhere. Kelly 6 - loads of ability on the ball but unfortunately lacked a yard of pace to actually beat a man. Missanka 0 - he’s one of the worst players we’ve ever had. Simply diabolical he is. Can’t stay onside, can’t (won’t) head it and is dumb as a bag of rocks. Holroyd 5 - offered absolutely nothing but he’s clearly better playing wide in a front 3 like at Macc. |

Agree with all apart from Rutherford and Holroyd- I would swap their respective marks. Rutherford lost the ball far too often and I thought Holroyd worked tirelessly without any assistance up front. |

Re: Ratings vs Chester
Of course it's very easy to post criticisms of the original poster when you didn't start the thread and had 3 days to do it!!
Come on chaps and chapesses, We won We scored more goals than them We got 3 more points We went joint top of the League You're only as good as your next result It wasn't the best performance but see the above 5 points I think some of you love to take a pop at the team even when we win. There is an alternative, you could become Chester supporters and watch great football, lose every week and be in the bottom 4. #ForeverWrexham |

He is okay as a fourth choice cheap pace option but we are relying on him too much at the moment....Reid must have completely checked out to not be getting a sniff and the sooner he goes back and we replace him with someone useful the better.
