BUILD THE BUDGET | WREXHAM AFC AND THE JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW

As a Welsh club we are the only club at National League Level to be subject to the international transfer window. In this crucial upcoming January period we are planning to maximise the amount of funds we can make available to Dean to push on in the second half of the season.

With this in mind the Wrexham Supporters Trust Board has agreed that all proceeds from this years’ Christmas raffle will go directly to ‘Build The Budget’ as part of this effort.

We have decided on this approach as, with Christmas approaching and the pressures that come with this time of year, we think this is a better way to impact BTB rather than raise an appeal for contributions to the fund at the same time.

£60,000 Opportunity
We urge supporters to help us make this Christmas Raffle the biggest in our history and in this way each and every one of us can have a direct impact on our January planning. Each member will receive 2 books of 10 tickets (20 tickets in total) which are £1 a ticket. Should each of us manage to sell our tickets that is a £60,000+ opportunity!

Tickets will be sent to members in the very near future. If you would like extra tickets to sell, then you can do so by popping in to the club shop or emailing us at fundraising@wst.org.uk and we will post out extra. Details of this years prizes & time of draw can be found below.

The first three main prizes for this years Wrexham AFC Club raffle are:
1) Caribbean Cruise for two people with Hays Travel (subject to terms & conditions)
2) Trip to AS Bologna v. AS Roma on 31st March 2018 for two people, including match tickets; hospitality; flights and hotel. (Donated by Macron)
3) 3 PS4 Games Console & game. Plus many more.......

The draw will be taking place on New Years Day at 5.30pm in the Centenary Club following our home match with Barrow.

Mickey & Joey Hot Pot Supper Night – Friday 1st December
In addition to the Christmas Raffle all proceeds from the Mickey & Joey hot pot supper evening will go to Build The Budget. This is proving to be extremely popular with 100 tickets sold already.

If you haven’t bought your tickets yet then we urge you to do so asap from the club shop to avoid disappointment! Tickets are priced at £20.

Build the Budget
Since its launch in February 2017 Build The Budget has raised £56,000 through the generosity of individual fans and supporters groups which has made a significant difference to us this season.

Whilst we aren’t making a push on donations, should you wish to contribute either as an individual or supporters group then you can still do so, like the Mold Reds have. At their latest meeting on 6th November they have agreed to donate a further £500 for which we are very grateful!

Should you wish to contribute then you can do so:
1. By cash – Please pay cash in an envelope clearly marked “Build the Budget” into the club shop.
2. By cheque – Please make cheques payable to:
WST – Loan Notes Account.

This is a dedicated account that will ONLY be used for the Fund. These can be handed into the club shop or posted to the following address:

Wrexham AFC Racecourse Ground
Build the Budget Fund
Mold Road
Wrexham
LL11 2AH

3. By standing order/one-off donation using internet banking to:
SORT CODE – 08-92-99
ACCOUNT NUMBER 65162624

4. By pay-pal – the e-mail address of the account to make a donation is treasurerbtb@wst.org.uk

COME ON YOU REDS!!!!

ALL proceeds and not extra profit

This is everyones chance to make a difference and if you dont buy a ticket personally then you can still sell them to others.

Even non WST members can add to BTB by collecting a couple of books.

As the WST say this is our biggest fundraiser and with just a small effort to sell tickets to family and friends will make a huge difference and I think we could do £50k easily with fans like ours.

Not really, Dean seems unable to sign a striker, and if this continues our season will be over.

No point feeling anything else, if we really want it enough, we will make it happen.
