Default Pre-Match Thread - Ebbsfleet (H)

After the less than convincing win against Chester, what scores are we going for against a tough to beat Ebbsfleet side.

They've only lost 3 this season and only lost 1 away but have drawn 10. Thinking if (big if, I know) we can grab the first goal our defence will be too much for them to break down. Having said that, they've not been short of goals this season.

I'm going for 1-0 to the Town, a Holroyd goal on the stroke of half time. COYR.

We've not been convincing all all other than second half v Eastleigh.

If we win this one I will be surprised.

Watch out for these players.

9 Danny Kedwell - powerhouse striker and good header of the ball.

11 Myles Weston -a very pacey winger - could be up against Carrington if Jennings isn't fit and the type of wide man who has the potential to rip us to shreds.

6 Kenny Clark - big solid central defender.

They are not far behind us and are scoring goals.

Based on the stats, yet another 0-0 bore-draw seems most likely. However, if DK unveils our new, ‘mystery striker’ by Friday, we may finally see a convincing win by a goal or two.

One can only pitch up and hope we kick-on by starting to dominate games and score more goals. Whilst my heart desperately wants this to start on Saturday, my head reminds me we may have to wait until January. Bloody frustrating, innit!

PD so if we sign a striker for Saturday you expect him to produce miracles on his own? If its does happen he will have the same problems at our other strikers, lack of a decent service from the wings and midfield, we lack someone who can actually put their foot on the ball and be able to pass and dictate play,a Pearson in midfield who talks, trouble is they are as hard to find as a decent striker.

I'm going for the boring 0-0 draw.

Sorry, I was trying to be facetious. I clearly failed to impress or score!

The phrase "yet another" makes it sound like there have been more than the three 0-0 draws there have been.

Reading this thread I'll say we'll lose heavily because we're obviously crap.
