Re: Chris Dunn
Great save but not good enough if we're honest

Re: Chris Dunn
All Reddavid did was to mention a poor performance by some keepers higher up to highlight his point. A much derided player in the aftermath of the Chester game put in a good performance on Saturday according at least to some of us. Obviously you and other think he flapped all game whereas I saw a keeper who grew in confidence as the crowd got behind him rather than booing him at the start. On Saturday's showing I have no real issue with him between the sticks though I cannot deny that I prefer coddington but ,as David tried to discuss, I do not believe Coddington would come here other than on loan to get game time.

Re: Chris Dunn
Dunn did ok. The save he made was decent enough but also one that if he hasn't of made he would have been slaughtered for. He came out a punched a couple but that aside was tested very little. In general I think the defence looks more nervy with him in goal but on the day he did what he needed to.

Re: Chris Dunn
PAll keepers are nervy coming back from injury, especially, when you seem a bit injury prone. Save a few you are doing your job, make a mistake it csts your team a goal. Regardless of Dunn's experience, confidence and understanding with the back four grows, with games, so the latest blank sheets, won't go a miss. Dunn doesnt seem fantastic at dominating his box, but how many keepers at our level can do everything, but his l height is a great advantage. Dibble's performances were a big plus point as we all thought he was here for cover, but he is far less experienced and also coming back from injury and will have to bide his time. In the meantime he can keep Dunn on his toes and push him hard for selection, but best not swap and change too much.
