We have had it at home too, unfortunately.

For the friends of these dickheads, don't be a sheep, grow some balls and either tell them not to do it or when they do set off flares, tell a steward who they are.

I can understand why people wouldn't grass up mates, I wouldn't have done when I was that age either.

However whether we agree with the regulations or not (and whilst I do accept it can look good the point flares/smoke bombs can be dangerous, and occasionally very dangerous is well made by others) the rules are clear.

It's also clear that we are getting into more and more trouble with fines we as a club can ill afford. But equally that the fines will escalate and then it will no doubt get worse with suspended points deductions etc.

The mates of the people involved need to tell them to stop. I understand not grassing people up but we have to self police as a fanbase. Now.

i received my raffle tickets yesterday but im sorry i wont be selling 1 until these idiots are drummed out of the club. you cant expect people to keep raising money to have to give it away in fines imposed because of a few idiots (and believe me controlling my language here)

I personally think that more pro-active and focused stewarding may help. May be wrong but I would reckon that the idiots who throw smoke bombs and launch seats come from the same nutters who persist with obscene chants . They all congregate together . May move around a bit but easily spotted . Usually middle of the back at away matches . Look mostly youngsters. If I can spot them ( and move away from them ) the paid stewards / police should focus more on getting near to / amongst them . Hopefully those responsible at Tranmere / Chester matches have been caught and will get banned . Point is that there are always others to take their place. So better stewarding is constantly needed.
