This thread was designed to brag him up - it won’t work on me. A thread designed to depress and going nowhere.
I disagree with you here the thread was not put up to brag Boden, I've not seen him play for a full match yet so how could I. You've said yourself Reid and Massanka are not delivering, unless I've missed a new signing he's the only one left to try.

Yes I would like to see Boden start on Tuesday, I think he has got goals in him.

No one doubts he’s got the best touch but clearly his attitude is not all that, otherwise he’d be playing. I’m sure a few people sussed what sort of character he was even from his first interview in pre-season. Had a sort of misplaced arrogance about himself.

Might be being silly here. But remembered the wasp incident at the preseason photo.....Flapping about like a big girl.....

Could it say something about his character......????

I must ask, who here expected Holroyd to be banging the goals in at this point while Boden sits there on a duck?

I certainly didn't see that one coming. I hope Holroyd's form continues.

[QUOTE=whitegatered;2088569]Watching the game on Saturday I felt the same way more football and less hoof ball will suit him.[

When at Newport, he tended to position himself alongside the last defender, depending on accurate through passes from mid-field.

This strategy brought him 15 goals for a team struggling to survive in Div.2.

I think are run of 2/3 games next to Holroyd to gain a partnership and some sharpness could see them hit it off.

Boden can't do much worse then Reid yesterday and Massanka at Chester, Holroyd is basically heading us up on his own.....got to be worth the go?!
