I have never seen a striker do absolutely nothing and try absolutely nothing until I saw Boden. And can the man on the pa please refrain from calling him Scotty Boden. He doesn’t deserve that lovable name. Shouldn’t even be on the bench.

Bit harsh on a player who does not look match fit ( i wonder why? 10 minute cameo appearances won't get match fitness) don't forget he is playing in a side that don't create much for forwards Holroyd is doing well also because he plays game after game ( rightly so) i will judge Boden when he has played if he ever does a consistent at least half a dozen full games, but I'm afraid he would be up against it as the experts have already written him off.
And I was one who was not enfused when we signed him but a certain Dixie was made up when we did.

Boden is arguably Keates' worst signing! Reid was never a threat against Ebbsfleet and looked a right 'jessy' wearing gloves! Massanka was much better when he came on

I wasn't impressed with the wearing of gloves by Reid. Not only was it not that cold, but it gives the impression that he was not up for it, or didn't fancy it. This showed when he needed to challenge for the ball but didn't. I think he has the most talent of our 4 forwards, just not that interested in giving his all.

Seemed to have become a trend wearing gloves by players when it's not even that cold, taken from the foreign players maybe like Martial etc although I can remember Johnny Barnes wearing them, but agree it makes them looks wimpy 😎

It must be really difficult with no reserve football on offer.Until Boden gets an extended run though I can't see how we can pillory the lad when he's sent on for a few minutes every blue moon.

Better than a green headband and a so called man knot . Boden appears to have lost his mojo and we all want him to succeed but I have my doubts and as for Reid he is all talk and no action so good riddance.

Keates has seen Boden in training for months.

I think Keates is using Boden as cover for Holroyd, and fears playing two old blokes or two young blokes. I can't see a place for Boden in our 4-4-2
