You cannot accuse fans who turn up in numbers each week, averaging around 4000, of not getting behind the team. It is up to the team to get them shouting, it is like watching paint drying, but when the game is over the finish looks better (the league table) than the experience.

Wish the 12th man would drop the stupid 'I'm into something good' song. It's awful and is usually followed by a crappy 10 minute drum solo.

I might stand in the middle of them and get a few of the oldies going. Will probably get some funny looks.

As someone who has watched matches in all the stands, my observations not just this season is the MRS is the Moan Road Stand a lots don't actually sing just spend the game slagging the current player who is out of favour, the Yale mostly throwing attacks at the opposition manager and the Techend where I have my season ticket the main singing is where the young fans stand up with a drummer who is tone deaf and main singing is taunting the 30-50 away fans for not singing or the mindless stand up if you hate Chester,

But in the main they are the lads who get the stand singing now poor old Jacko ain't there.

Saturday though Keates complaining about our fans being quiet, he don't look that enthusiastic himself on the touchline, it was quieter than usual but once Massanka came on and we actually done some attacking it roused the crowd and they did get behind the team, listening to fans in hearing distance their was a lot of moaning about the continual giving the ball away and sideways,Backwards passing plus heard a few abusing Reid. What was good fans shouted some encouraging words singing his name to Dunn who has been lacking confidence, and yes I joined in some of the singing.

Modern football.

I've been at the racecourse plenty of times when the football was as dull, the crowd was lower, we lost and we had a far better atmosphere.

Almost every song sung, is sang by the other team.
