Our figures were worse when we were in the league. I remember watching quite a few games on the kop on a Tuesday night when we used to annoyingly kick of at 7:30pm. Those games often only had a couple of thousand attending

You had a higher attendance than us on Tuesday night, but I did predict pre-match that we'd "just about scrape 3000".

It wasn't surprising though as the football served up has been awful recently, we'd failed to score in our last 4 games and the previous 4 home games had ended 0-0, 0-0, 0-0 and 0-1.

However, we were rewarded on Tuesday by our best performance of the season as we beat Swindon 3-2 and played some great stuff. It just shows that the players do have it in them and hopefully we'll see more of the same in the coming games.

This Division is so close with only Luton looking like champions at the minute. I don't think that I've seen a team all season (we haven't played Luton yet) where I've thought "they're a decent team".

What are Notts County looking like Les? They will be up there at end of season perhaps?
Explains if you have been playing bad football as saw your result but also the attendance on Tuesday night, and thought the crowd figure seemed very low for Grimsby.

There's a lot of apathy and disatisfaction around at the minute to be honest, with many fans not happy with the current regime from top to bottom. There's been a few things happen recently which fans have not been happy about.

Not played Notts County yet. We play them away on the 16th Dec and the following Saturday we have Luton away, so those 2 games will give us some sort of measure as to how close or far away we are from the top of the division.

So in summary are crowds have held up fantastically since we have been down here.

I think at 1 point we did have a dip with sub 3,000 crowds but IMO we have been extremely well supported over the last few years - despite the fare on offer.
