You can say what you like but in my opinion Reid has done little for 10 games but has got game time consistently and ,I believe, that is down to the deal with fleetwood. We all agreed for example that Marx would benefit from game time when he went on loan, how would we feel if he was permanently on the bench ?

Totally hear what billy is saying, we have had a few who never got much game time when in loan to us.....but I think you are almost certainly right moyn, fleetwood must have insisted he gets a lot of game time or they’d take him back. It’s the only theory that adds up, cos Massanka has been clearly more effective in recent weeks yet can’t get a start before Reid. And as others have said, unless Boden has seriously upset the management, or doesn’t train well, it makes no sense naming him on the bench, as he rarely gets used, and has no impact when he does (and I agree with what others say that without a run of full games, he will never be match fit and up to speed). So I am with you, must be that fleetwood have mandated that we play Reid from the start.

Well, if they've agreed to what you're saying, and we're also openly after new forwards, it would still indicate Boden's days are numbered. I hope not because I think he has goals in him, with the right partner.

Maybe he has but that’s not the point. Fact is if we have to agree with a club from a higher league making stipulations we have to get on with it or they will no longer loan us players.

I find it hard to believe that Dean would accept someone from outside the club picking his team. Fact is that when Boden has started he's been hooked before the end and deservedly so from what I've seen. I don't think Dean believes he's up to the job.

If there is a deal that plays Reid before Boden, I would like to think it's along the lines of: If you play Reid X minutes per ghame/X games for his loan, then you can keep Wright until the end of the season'

I'd more than certainly take that. Whether it's in his deal is a whole other story, I do agree with Ivor though, I can't see Keates agreeing to that.

All I have heard is that when Reid goes back, unless something suddenly changes, we will be going into the transfer window with the 3 strikers remaining.

As for what happens in January, the same rumour believes Massanka will go back and we will sign two strikers, either on loan or permanently.

That suggests to me they think Boden is staying.
