Sutton around 2.200 and they are up there with us.
This brings me to money that's coming into the club. Neil Taylor money, we are told it's payed in installments, how much and when ? The summer concerts how much profit was ploughed into playing Side ?
It's a good idea for this boost the crowd, but there again shouldn't every penny available to towards the transfer window January.
On the footballing side I think Aldershot will be the front runners for the Championship, which will leave us and some very workman-like teams in the play-offs. So, this January window is crucial.
The clubs with smaller gates are being bankrolled by men with large chequebooks. Our small squad takes all the money because someone like Shaun Pearson will have moved here for a considerable wage for a Conference player, without there being much wriggle room to have too many players drawing that wage. The club knows about balancing the books.

Macclesfield don't have a sugar daddy.

Can't see more than 3,900 tomorrow. If that really is the budget figure it's ambitious.

To clear our debts we all dug deep/climbed Snowden/organized cricket matches etc etc etc. I appreciate your view that you perhaps do not like our model but maybe unfortunately Macc's attempts to follow our lead were thwarted.

And they frequently lose players to us, meaning they must spend less than we do.

Which represents the flip side of the non supporters trust ownership. Wealthy owner does just enough to prevent the club from going bust and milks it whenever he can.

With a smaller squad then its even more important that we get value for money with the players that are signed.

Its unfortunate but we cannot be a rehab unit or players struggling for fitness or form and we have to have players that hit the ground running (literally).
Loan players have to improve the starting 11 otherwise we may as well take a chance with our younger players.

Its just a few simple basics that IMO should be applied and would hopefully start to improve us.
