Disagree with that, Keetes picks the team and Boden and Macreth are available and on the bench because DK believes the players on the pitch are better. In Macreths case he has been injured also.

Waddock is doing well but he has had the benefit of parachute payments and 4 transfer windows building his team.

The first year Shots came down they had a manager from Scotland (Smith?) who didn't do too well. Let's not forget that Waddock has tons of experience at this level and above. He has had time to build his team and it shows.

So Aldershot are having parachute payments from 2012-13 season when they last got relegated!

It's easy to forget about their first two seasons back down here, they were really shit.

Waddock is definitely a big factor. Like Still he's a manager who has had success in this league but also knows his geographic area really well. Benefits from being in the south east as well I'm sure. Bigger pool of players to choose from. He was the best signing they made.

What's more Waddock can't put a foot wrong with their supporters who cal him the "Ginger Mourinho". Think that's going a bit far but at this level there are few better and as ER says he knows the area so finds it easy to pick up good players.

If only Keates 'knew the area' we would be transformed! Nothing to do with the fact that he is inferior tactically and in the transfer market

Think you're being a bit hard on keates, Birdy. he's just completed his first year in football managament while Waddock has over 10 years experience. Not surprising he (GW) is superior tactically and in the transfer market.
