Two are National League strikers - one of which is at Gateshead but is not Wes York.

If only half of these signings land then it will be a massive improvement - if all four arrive then the second half of the season will be extremely interesting.

Only concern - no mention by anyone of a midfielder - perhaps Wright will be retained for the whole season - we still have squad versatility in the form of Carrington and Leo Smith who can be drafted in but upfront we are struggling big time.

I'm sure DK knows our limitations and will do all he can to remedy the problem in January.

A lot of people talking shite about being ITK on this thread. Talk of bringing in 3 strikers is laughable.

Nobody knows anything, it’s been proven a million times before.

Thing is if Massanka returns to Burnley we would need 3 new strikers. Going on basis must be big question mark about Boden's future here-illustrated clearly yesterday by not being brought on until injury time despite being 2 down.

Dean must be talking to players, I just hope he's learnt his lesson from the summer. He has to add numbers to the squad and to be backed by the board. It would be criminal for this not to happen.
A lot of people seem to know the coming and goings of players,in those famous quotes. "I've heard off a good source" oh yeah.
I just hope we are in contention when they arrive.

We obviously need two strikers. One a target man and the other a horrible weasel willing to run around and hassle.

People wanting wingers or midfielders is a waste. We have bodies in there as long as Wright's loan is extended, and Holroyd can play on the wing and will probably still get a few goals. Rutherford with mackreth as impact sub.what type of player is Quigley? Is he the weasel we need?

I hope Massanka stays. We won’t get another hard working impact sub like him. Having him and Holroyd on the bench would give us promising options. So that means that we do need two quality strikers. Boden can go to anywhere stupid enough to take him.

Why aren’t we loaning these players before signing them permanently in Jan???
