I wouldn’t go as far to say any of the above in all fairness, we haven’t even been great it’s nothing to go crazy about BUT it’s clear we are a few decent signings away from a decent team the minute we went 2-0 down you cannot see where two goals will come from.

In my humble opinion, there’s nothing between what I think are the seven clubs who could/should end up in the playoffs (& of course one who goes up as champions)....it’s so close, and I think it will remain that way, as each goes on good runs, then has a few short bad patches.

Others may have their own permutations on who the seven are, but I am thinking Aldershot, Dagenham, Tranmere, Sutton, Macclesfield, Dover, and Us.

Quite where we are in that mix at the end of the season will of course depend on key players of ours avoiding injuries/suspensions. And whether we can make the changes in January to find some more goals, whilst not compromising our defensive record.

We have every reason to believe we will be in there though. It’s the halfway point, and we are doing a lot of things right.

We will need an element of luck (something we have had already, for a change, compared to previous recent seasons) and of course that great team spirit, and continued great support from the fans.
