Missed a trick?

I often see a a cars driving about covered in Stoke City and Everton decals respectively promoting their community scheme travelling through past mine for years now, off to a local school no doubt. I've seen another car the same but only got a very brief glimpse Man City or possibly Chester.

Most likely linked to this, as a lot of clubs are hoovering up the schools to help find talent and grow their fan base and offer free tickets, some are very aggressive and don't allow other clubs to visit the schools as part of agreements, in exchange for perks like free tickets or free coaching sessions.

Anyway the club are already on this, perhaps they could be a little more expansive to contain the threat.

Have the squad hold a training session on school fields.

I remember Wales doing this before matches at the Racecourse, it created a huge buzz and though there were no free tickets, that was why I went to my first match.
I even remember paying to take a penalty against "Big Nev", queued up all lunchtime and kicked it straight at him ala Terry Yorath style, doh!

saw quite a few school kids yesterday from transfynydd way all singing Wrexham Wrexham,and they spent money on scarf,s etc well done to them and the club if they instigated it.

Gresford under 9's were in the family stand yesterday, not sure what they paid for the tickets but a mate of mine took his lad with him, guess what, dad and lad are looking forward to the next Wrexham game now. Brilliant

But you’re missing the point as you still have to get those Man Utd, Liverpool, Man City kids etc etc to come and try it. As they don’t want to as they support other clubs so don’t have any interest in Wrexham F.C. A free ticket clearly works before they have a first visit to Anfield, Goodidon or Old Trafford and then we have lost potential new life long fans.
