I think Miller will probably start on the bench.
Out of those the logical choice would be Holroyd.

I would imagine he will be a bench warmer alongside Massanka and used as maybe an impact sub for the last 15-20 minutes given our current subs policy.

Its only a short term thing and gives the lad some game time before his impending loan to a L1 club in the new year.

More interesting is the little note in the leader about the triallist who has been in Germany - wonder who that might be?

Takyi ??
The 22-year-old was born in Africa before moving to Germany. He has played in the Bundesliga Two and for Latvian side Spartaks in the Europa League qualifiers.

In Keates we trust!
Those are bad examples because they are amazing players, one of whom is the best player of all time. Keates is a better example.

We know that in the conference if you are small you have to be ace, whereas if you are big you can get away with it. Christian Smith is a good example. If he was six inches smaller he would not still be making his living playing football.

Having said that, I am sure this lad will be ace, because has done it to a certain extent at a higher level.

Many, feel we need someone to compete and win headers. I'm not so sure about that, give me pace rather than build as that is what frightens most NL centre backs, who are more than capable of shutting out an aerial threat.

Good post I agree with this it's pace and good close ball control we need upfront, hoofing to a big ape of a target man is easy to defend against pace especially at our level scares defenders.

But we need to play creative football and just lack that player who can open up a defence with a pass.

That opens a different conversation in that with 442 the front 2 need pace and power.

A new addition to the squad, would normally start on the bench, but in George Miller's case, I can see him starting. Only here for seven games, before going to a league one club in January, so why hold him back. He's a proven scorer, having played at a higher level last season at Bury, and already finding the net this season for his club's U23. Our problem is scoring goals, that's why Keates has brought him in, so lets see if he can help put that right, if only for a few games, starting on Saturday.
